Atop a mountain high, a temple carved in bone
A shadowed form and I left to palaver alone

An ancient monument to creation from which existence draws its power.”

A nexus in time

“All life flows from The Tower,
Where an eternity can seem like a minute.
Find The Ancient at its center, enshrined in chambers within.”

“Be wary, Traveler. Your fate will be revealed.”

I look towards the shadowed form
But the man had ceased to be
Nothing now but a looming mist
and a pile of bones picked clean
I close my eyes and hope
to be awakened from this dream

A sudden vertigo washes over me
and as I open my eyes
I see myself ascending,
drifting through the sky
Onwards toward The Void
Where my fate lies...
